The People’s Committee of Da Nang City has recently granted a land lease to Phuc Tin Service Joint Stock Company (based in Hanoi) for a prime location at 16 Bach Dang Street, Hai Chau District.
The leased land area spans 1,795 square meters, designated for commercial and service purposes. The lease term is set at 50 years, with a one-time payment for the entire duration.
Previously, in July 2025, the Da Nang Land Fund Development Center auctioned the rights to this “golden land” plot at 16 Bach Dang, starting at nearly 311 billion VND. Among the two individuals and one company participating, Phuc Tin Service Joint Stock Company secured the bid at over 200 million VND per square meter, totaling nearly 360 billion VND—exceeding the starting price by approximately 49 billion VND.
The 16 Bach Dang plot, centrally located in Da Nang, has remained undeveloped for years.
Boasting dual frontage on Bach Dang and Tran Phu streets, the 16 Bach Dang plot is one of the most strategically positioned sites in central Da Nang. Situated along the Han River, it offers direct access to key transportation routes and tourism hubs.
The 16 Bach Dang plot was previously leased to Bac Nam 79 Construction JSC, owned by Phan Van Anh Vu (“Vu nhom”), for 50 years starting in 2014. Subsequent inspections revealed irregularities in the lease, leading to its seizure in 2018 during investigations into violations. In May 2023, the Ministry of Public Security requested Da Nang to lift transaction restrictions to support business operations. By February 2025, the Da Nang Department of Natural Resources and Environment commissioned a valuation firm to assess the land for auction.
