Lam Dong Attracts Nearly VND 35,000 Billion in Investment Capital, Approves 9 New Projects

At the 2025 Investment Promotion Conference, the People’s Committee of Lam Dong Province granted investment policy approval decisions and investment registration certificates to 9 projects, totaling nearly VND 35,000 billion in capital. Additionally, 12 memorandums of cooperation were signed during the event.

On October 12th, at Lam Vien Square (Da Lat), the People’s Committee of Lam Dong Province hosted the 2025 Investment Promotion Conference. This event marks the beginning of a new development phase following the expansion of the province’s administrative boundaries.

During the conference, Lam Dong Province showcased its economic and social development potential and direction, investment attraction policies, and a list of priority projects seeking capital for the 2025-2030 period. A total of 72 projects were announced, focusing on infrastructure, industrial zones, clean energy, urban housing, high-tech agriculture, premium tourism, education, healthcare, and environmental protection.

As part of the conference, the provincial government granted investment certificates and approval decisions to 9 projects, totaling nearly VND 35 trillion. These projects span various sectors, including real estate, agriculture, trade and services, and industry. Additionally, 12 memorandums of understanding for investment cooperation were signed, offering opportunities for businesses to explore potential projects in the region.

Business leaders and investors attending the conference praised the active support from local authorities and departments, which expedited administrative procedures and facilitated project implementation.

Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee, stated that the province currently hosts over 33,000 active businesses with a total registered capital exceeding VND 350 trillion. The province is committed to further administrative reforms, infrastructure development, and the implementation of incentives to attract major investors, particularly in technology, clean energy, and high-quality tourism.

Following its merger with Binh Thuan and Dak Nong, Lam Dong has become the largest province in Vietnam, covering over 24,000 km² with a population of nearly 3.9 million. With its diverse ecosystems—highlands, midlands, and coastal areas—the province is poised for extensive development, offering a “golden opportunity” to emerge as a new growth pole. This positions Lam Dong to lead the green economy and sustainable development in the Central Highlands and beyond.
