This year’s “Most Powerful Women in Asia” list honors 100 leaders leveraging regional and global volatility to drive business advantages.

According to Fortune, candidates are selected based on stringent criteria such as measurable influence, strategic reach, and future-shaping capabilities. Notably, over a third of the list leads companies in the Global 500, China 500, and Southeast Asia 500. The 2025 ranking spans 14 markets across Southeast Asia, Greater China, India, Japan, South Korea, and Australia.

Vietnam boasts four honorees this year, spanning consumer goods, technology, manufacturing, telecommunications, and agriculture.

Vietnam’s highest-ranking representative is Le Thi Thu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of Vingroup and Chairwoman of VinFast, at #58. Thuy is recognized for steering Vingroup’s strategy and leading VinFast’s global expansion as an electric vehicle manufacturer.

Mai Kieu Lien, CEO of Vinamilk, follows at #73. Her continued presence on the list underscores her enduring contributions to Vietnam’s dairy industry. Fortune highlights her leadership since 1992, transforming Vinamilk into Ho Chi Minh City’s largest listed food and beverage company with a $4.9 billion market cap.

Under her tenure, Vinamilk has strengthened domestic dominance while expanding exports, achieving 12% export growth last year.

Telecommunications is represented by Nguyen Thi Hoa, CEO of Viettel Global, at #90. With 15+ years in international investment and legal roles at Viettel, Hoa is Viettel Global’s first female CEO. The subsidiary, valued at nearly $11 billion, reported 24% revenue growth to $1.5 billion in 2024, with Q4 2024 profits hitting an all-time high.

Rounding out Vietnam’s honorees is Dang Huynh Uc My, Chairwoman of TTC AgriS, at #93. Fortune recognizes her strategic vision and sustainability commitment.
