Recently, SYM Vietnam officially launched the brand-new TPBW 125 scooter in the market. This mid-range scooter competes with models like the Yamaha Janus and Honda Vision.
The SYM TPBW 125 targets young customers with its modern design and numerous convenience features. Inspired by the Ha Giang triangle flowers, the design symbolizes resilience and the ability to thrive in harsh conditions.

SYM TPBW 125 has just been launched in Vietnam.
Unlike other models in its class, which typically use a 110 cc engine, the SYM TPBW 125 features a 124.9 cc single-cylinder engine. This engine delivers a maximum power of 7 kW (9.39 hp) at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 10.4 Nm at 5,000 rpm.
The larger engine capacity provides slightly higher power than competitors, yet it boasts impressive fuel efficiency, averaging 1.75L/100km, according to the manufacturer.

The scooter offers an average fuel consumption of 1.75L/100km, outperforming many competitors in its segment.
The SYM TPBW 125 weighs 102 kg, has a ground clearance of 132 mm, and a seat height of 760 mm. These dimensions are comparable to other models in its class, ensuring ease of use in urban environments.
The scooter features tubeless tires and several convenience features common in its segment, including a front utility compartment, a phone charging port, and a smart key system.

The phone charging port is located at the front of the scooter instead of inside the utility compartment.
However, the charging port is positioned at the front of the scooter, not inside the utility compartment. This design is more practical if users add a phone mount for navigation, as the charging cable remains unaffected when turning the handlebars.
Another unique feature is the fuel tank’s relocation to the front. This design offers two advantages: first, refueling is more convenient without opening the seat; second, the under-seat storage capacity is significantly increased.
Indeed, the SYM TPBW 125 boasts an impressive 23.7-liter under-seat storage capacity, a standout feature in its class.

With no fuel tank sharing space, the SYM TPBW 125 offers a spacious 23.7-liter under-seat storage.
The SYM TPBW 125 is equipped with front disc brakes and rear drum brakes, featuring a Combined Braking System (CBS). This system distributes braking force to both wheels when either brake is applied, enhancing safety and control.
Notably, the front disc brake is designed to accommodate a regular rotor if ABS is installed. However, SYM has only confirmed the CBS system, with no mention of ABS.

Another standout feature is the dashboard. Unlike traditional analog gauges, the SYM TPBW 125 features a full-color LCD display with a clear, modern design.
Interestingly, this display includes a light sensor that automatically adjusts brightness based on ambient conditions, ensuring optimal visibility for the rider.

Currently, SYM offers two versions of the TPBW 125, differing in the key system. The version with a mechanical key is priced at 32.8 million VND, while the smart key version costs 1 million VND more.
Both versions are available in four colors: green-black, light brown-black, glossy black, and white-black.
