On October 13th, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Thanh, CEO of Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (GSM) – the operator of the Xanh SM electric taxi service, announced that the Xanh SM brand has secured its first international franchising agreement.

This milestone is marked by a partnership with Xentro Group, a leading Philippine conglomerate, paving the way for 2,000 Xanh SM electric taxis to operate in the Philippines. This significant development underscores the Vietnamese electric taxi brand’s expansion into the regional market.

Franchising Agreement Signing Ceremony

According to Mr. Thanh, over two years ago, Xanh SM also entered into a franchising agreement in Vietnam with Lado Taxi.

Today, Lado Lâm Đồng, once a struggling taxi company, now operates a fleet of nearly 2,000 electric vehicles, inspiring nearly 100 partners with its success story.

“Having a Vietnamese brand franchised internationally is not just a milestone but the beginning of Xanh SM’s global journey. We look forward to collaborating with hundreds of partners across multiple countries in the near future,” shared Mr. Thanh.
