In recent years, a new wave of young entrepreneurs has been taking the helm of family-owned business empires. One standout figure is Nguyen Viet Vuong, son of Nguyen Viet Hai, the renowned entrepreneur behind Son Hai Group.

Despite the growing interest in his endeavors, Nguyen Viet Vuong maintains a low profile. Publicly available details reveal that he was born in 1994 and hails from Quang Binh province.

In a 2023 post on the verified Facebook account of Son Hai Group, Nguyen Viet Vuong was introduced as the CEO of Son Hai Group. He has also been a prominent figure at key corporate events.

Further information about Nguyen Viet Vuong is primarily tied to his role within Son Hai Group.

Notably, his father, Nguyen Viet Hai, is the founder and current Chairman of the Board of Son Hai Group.

According to the National Business Registration Portal, Son Hai Group, officially known as Son Hai Group Limited Company, was established on April 13, 1998. Its headquarters are located at 117 Huu Nghi Street, Nam Ly Ward, Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh. The company’s primary business focus is residential construction.

Currently, the company has four legal representatives, none of whom include Nguyen Viet Vuong. The legal representatives are Nguyen Viet Hai, Le Thanh Huong, Nguyen Thanh Hai, and Ngo Minh Ngoc.

Information about Son Hai Group on the National Business Registration Portal

Previously, according to the business registration in May 2024, the group had a chartered capital of nearly 2.366 trillion VND, comprising approximately 2.055 trillion VND in cash and over 311 billion VND in land use rights.

The contributing shareholders included Nguyen Viet Hai, who contributed 2.363.8 trillion VND (99.9% of the capital), and Le Thanh Huong, who contributed 2.1 billion VND (nearly 0.1% of the capital).

As of May 2024, Son Hai Group had six legal representatives: Chairman Nguyen Viet Hai, CEO Nguyen Viet Vuong, Directors Nguyen Thanh Hai, Le Thanh Huong, Ngo Minh Ngoc, and Deputy Director Hoang Minh Truong.

By the end of May 2024, Son Hai Group increased its chartered capital to over 4.478 trillion VND. Nguyen Viet Hai contributed 4.476 trillion VND, while Le Thanh Huong contributed 2.1 billion VND. All contributions were made in cash.

From this point onward, CEO Nguyen Viet Vuong was no longer listed as a legal representative of the company.
