Auction Program Spreading Love

Under the spirit of “Connecting – Sharing – Spreading Love,” on the evening of October 11th, within the framework of the “Heritage Footsteps” Fashion Show at the World Culture Festival in Hanoi, a charity auction was held to support fellow citizens affected by recent floods.

The auction program received contributions from 5 designers with 5 traditional outfits and a silk scarf, along with 2 ceramic vases and paintings by artist Ngo Ba Hoang, and a pearl necklace from a jewelry brand.

Representatives from SHB Bank and T&T Group successfully auctioned a painting by artist Ngo Ba Hoang for 1 billion VND.

The painting Ancient Cheo Melody and Kite Whistle Over Golden Fields by artist Ngo Ba Hoang was the highest-bid item in the program. This poetic work captures the serene countryside of the Northern Delta. Starting at 150 million VND, it was purchased by SHB Bank and T&T Group for 1 billion VND.

“We believe that even small, practical actions can create a great force to help our fellow citizens overcome difficulties. SHB and T&T Group are always committed to the community, not only in financial activities but also through sharing and social responsibility.”, shared representatives from SHB Bank and T&T Group.

Alongside the painting Ancient Cheo Melody and Kite Whistle Over Golden Fields, another work by artist Ngo Ba Hoang—a ceramic vase titled Mother and Child, crafted with new enamel techniques and lacquer—also garnered attention. Ultimately, the vase “Mother and Child” was successfully auctioned by a philanthropist for 555 million VND, embodying the spirit of sharing and spreading love as per the program’s message.

The auction program concluded successfully, raising a total of 2.5 billion VND.

At the program’s conclusion, the total funds raised from the auction and donations from the audience and philanthropists reached 2.5 billion VND. All proceeds will be directed by the organizing committee to flood-affected areas, supporting the reconstruction of homes, schools, and public facilities.

The first World Culture Festival in Hanoi took place from October 10th to 12th at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Center. Aimed at celebrating cultural diversity and fostering people-to-people exchanges, the festival is a key cultural diplomacy event of Vietnam in 2025. As sponsors, SHB Bank and T&T Group are honored to accompany this special event, contributing to the promotion and dissemination of Vietnamese cultural essence.

When Happiness is Sharing

Over 32 years of development, SHB and T&T have not only been businesses but also companions whenever the nation and its people are in need.

Recently, in response to the severe damage caused by storms and floods, SHB swiftly mobilized an emergency relief team to Thai Nguyen—one of the hardest-hit localities. Hundreds of essential packages, including medicine, food, and household items, were distributed directly to affected residents, providing timely support and encouragement to overcome this challenging period.

SHB’s emergency relief team promptly arrived in Thai Nguyen to distribute aid to residents.

SHB employees nationwide are also joining hands to donate and share their compassion with fellow citizens in provinces struggling with the aftermath of natural disasters. Moving forward, SHB will continue to implement practical activities to support flood-affected communities in rebuilding their lives and overcoming difficulties.

Previously, during the Covid-19 pandemic, when society faced a crisis, SHB proactively launched preferential credit packages, debt restructuring, and interest rate exemptions for hundreds of thousands of customers. Additionally, SHB organized numerous charitable activities, donating medical supplies and food, standing alongside the people during the most challenging times. The total contributions from SHB, T&T Group, and businesses within Do Quang Hien’s ecosystem to pandemic prevention efforts exceeded 1.5 trillion VND.

Alongside business activities, SHB and T&T Group actively participate in social welfare programs.

In 2024, when Typhoon Yagi severely impacted many provinces, SHB once again took the lead, collaborating with the Fatherland Front Committees in various localities to conduct surveys and provide financial and emotional support, helping residents stabilize their lives quickly. Notably, in the “Homes for My Fellow Citizens” program, responding to the Prime Minister’s call, SHB donated 100 billion VND to Soc Trang Province (now Can Tho City), supporting the elimination of temporary and leaky homes for poor and near-poor households.

Furthermore, SHB and T&T Group collaborated with the Ministry of Public Security to implement a program to eliminate temporary homes and support the poor across provinces, including the construction of 700 homes for the poor in Bac Lieu Province (now Ca Mau Province); 150 homes for residents and a school for children in mountainous areas in provinces severely affected by storms and floods, such as Son La, Tuyen Quang, Dien Bien, and Thai Nguyen…

Recently, SHB was honored to receive the Prime Minister’s Commendation for its outstanding achievements in the “National Movement to Eliminate Temporary and Leaky Homes in 2025.”

Wherever people are in need, whenever the nation calls, SHB and T&T Group are always present, not only with financial resources but also with a sharing heart and the aspiration to accompany a sustainable and prosperous Vietnam.
