Recent news about the upcoming wedding of Miss Vietnam 2020, Do Thi Ha, has captured significant public attention.
Her fiancé, Nguyen Viet Vuong, a 31-year-old entrepreneur, currently serves as the CEO of Son Hai Group. He is the son of Nguyen Viet Hai, the Chairman of the Group.

Established on April 13, 1998, Son Hai Group is headquartered in Quang Binh Province and is recognized as a leading enterprise in the transportation infrastructure sector. The group has participated in dozens of major projects spanning from the North to the South of Vietnam.
Between 2018 and 2024, Son Hai secured 22 contracts totaling over 25,204 billion VND, with many achieving significant cost savings compared to initial estimates. Since the beginning of 2025, the group has won four major infrastructure contracts valued at more than 2,600 billion VND.
Most recently, in August 2025, Son Hai was awarded Contract Package No. 26 (Km53 – Km63+500) by the Project Management Unit for Transport Construction in Son La Province. The estimated cost was 1,643 billion VND, with Son Hai bidding 1,153 billion VND, saving nearly 490 billion VND (a 29.8% reduction compared to the estimate). They outperformed competitors such as the Deo Ca Group Consortium and two joint ventures: Hoa Hiep Co., Ltd. and Khang Nguyen Infrastructure Construction Investment Corporation.
Also in mid-August 2025, the company won Contract Package No. 17 for construction work managed by the Project Management Unit for Agriculture and Environment in Quang Binh Province, with a winning bid of 33.7 billion VND.
In late June 2025, Son Hai secured the XL-04 package for the Hoa Binh – Moc Chau Expressway project, bidding 120.8 billion VND less than the estimate (an 18.8% savings), surpassing major competitors like Lung Lo and Deo Ca.
In March 2025, the company won Contract Package 01XL for the Tuy An – Tuy Hoa Coastal Road project (Phase 1), valued at 890.9 billion VND, saving 12.98% compared to the initial estimate.
From 2016 to the present, Son Hai has consistently increased its chartered capital. Starting at 370 billion VND in 2016, it rose to 480 billion VND in 2018, reached nearly 2,366 billion VND in 2021, and by May 2024, had climbed to 4,478 billion VND, an 1.8-fold increase, entirely in cash contributions. Chairman Nguyen Viet Hai holds controlling interest with a contribution of over 4,476 billion VND.
