Aerial views of Mui Dong Tranh reveal the vibrant construction site of the Can Gio coastal urban area – Vinhomes Green Paradise. New land strips extend towards the sea, interspersed with hundreds of hectares of land reclamation, bustling with dredgers, barges, and cranes in operation.

At the boundary between the mainland and the reclaimed area, the embankment system, utility roads, material storage yards, and the construction management area are gradually taking shape. The extensive land reclamation stretches for kilometers along the coastline, showcasing the project’s massive scale and initial phase workload.

In Zone A, the first roads have been asphalted, and the internal transportation network is becoming evident. This indicates the project has entered the infrastructure completion phase after extensive land reclamation.

Meanwhile, in Zones B, D, and E, construction is underway for the sewer system, road building, and sand filling for land leveling.

Zones B and C are focused on extensive sand pumping to prepare the foundation for high-rise buildings and key facilities such as education and healthcare centers.

The entire area is protected by a Geotube soft dyke system – massive geotechnical tubes filled with sand, designed to reduce waves, prevent erosion, and remain environmentally friendly to the marine ecosystem.

To reinforce the weak soil foundation, tens of thousands of cement-soil piles (CDM) have been installed, enhancing load-bearing capacity and ensuring long-term stability for all structures.

For large-scale components like the international transshipment port, the developer plans to use the Caisson sinking method – an advanced technique commonly applied in modern maritime infrastructure projects worldwide.

The Can Gio coastal urban tourism area, commercially known as Vinhomes Green Paradise, is developed by Can Gio Urban Tourism Corporation (a Vingroup member). Located in Long Hoa commune and Can Thanh town, former Can Gio district – now part of the new Can Gio district, Ho Chi Minh City, the project spans approximately 2,870 hectares, with over 1,357 hectares reclaimed from the sea.

The project is planned to accommodate nearly 230,000 residents and attract up to 40 million tourists annually.
