In response to the government’s social housing development strategy, Vingroup has registered to invest in and develop social housing projects under the Happy Home brand across various provinces nationwide. To date, the Happy Home chain has been implemented in four provinces: Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Quang Tri, and Khanh Hoa. Additionally, plans are underway to expand to three more provinces: Hung Yen, Ho Chi Minh City, and Tay Ninh.

In Hai Phong, Vingroup launched the Happy Home Trang Cat project (located in the Dinh Vu Economic Zone), spanning a total area of 28.14 hectares. The project comprises 27 residential buildings, ranging from 7 to 9 stories high, offering 3,804 apartments with sizes between 28.8 and 70 square meters per unit. As the largest social housing project in the city, Happy Home Trang Cat features 59 outdoor amenities, including three parks, four flower gardens, sports facilities (yoga, gym, badminton), a camping area, a chess garden, and a reading zone. Furthermore, in Duong Kinh (part of the Vinhomes Golden City project), Vingroup has planned an additional 8,000 social housing units.

In Thanh Hoa, the Happy Home project is situated in Hac Thanh Ward, covering nearly 9.2 hectares. It includes 18 nine-story buildings, providing 2,824 apartments ranging from 45 to 71 square meters per unit. The project boasts numerous amenities such as a scenic lake, green parks, walking paths, a children’s playground, sports areas, and proximity to cultural centers and schools. The first phase of sales began in March 2025, with the second phase scheduled to launch on October 15, 2025.

In Quang Tri, the Happy Home project spans 11.5 hectares, offering 142 low-rise houses (three stories high) with land areas ranging from 75 to 163.9 square meters. The project has completed construction and is preparing for its sales launch, expected in November 2025.

In Khanh Hoa, Vingroup is developing a Happy Home project on a total area of 87.64 hectares, featuring 4,140 social housing units in Bac Cam Ranh Ward.

In addition to the four provinces mentioned, Vingroup plans to develop Happy Home projects in Hung Yen (5,500 units), Ho Chi Minh City (31,500–33,500 units), and Tay Ninh (2,300 units).

What sets Happy Home projects apart in the social housing segment is their focus on creating not just “a place to live,” but “a place worth living” for workers. All units are designed with modern aesthetics, superior finishing quality, and are complemented by public amenities and green spaces, enhancing the quality of life for residents.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman and CEO of Vingroup, stated: “With a commitment to supporting the government’s social housing development efforts, Vingroup ensures the fastest project implementation, superior quality, and comprehensive amenities comparable to commercial housing. Currently, the Group has fully prepared resources, designs, and social housing models, ready to commence additional projects as soon as local authorities allocate cleared land, striving to meet all assigned targets.”
