Accordingly, from October 20 to October 28, 2025, enhanced Level 1 aviation security measures will be applied at Noi Bai, Da Nang, and Tan Son Nhat International Airports.

Additionally, during these dates, other airports, facilities providing aviation services, and units with aviation security programs will implement measures to strengthen aviation security. These include enhancing cybersecurity and information security for civil aviation systems, increasing patrolling and surveillance of public areas via CCTV cameras, inspecting unidentified luggage, and regularly checking trash bins, restrooms, and secluded areas.

Furthermore, the Immigration Department requires relevant units to increase random inspections and access control to restricted areas, as well as enhance screening of passengers, carry-on luggage, checked baggage, non-passengers, and items brought into restricted areas.

The department also mandates extended and more frequent inspections and supervision by command and management systems at all levels.

The Immigration Department instructs agencies and units to implement appropriate enhanced aviation security measures. The airport border police at Noi Bai, Da Nang, Tan Son Nhat, Cam Ranh, and Phu Quoc International Airports, as well as the Immigration Management Departments of provinces and cities with other airports, are to notify aviation service providers and foreign airlines operating at these airports of the above measures.
