The Khoai Chau urban complex, eco-tourism, and golf course project spans nearly 1,000 hectares, with a total investment of over $1.5 billion (approximately VND 40 trillion).

The inspected projects include the Khoai Chau Urban Complex, Eco-Tourism, and Golf Course, along with the construction of a cultural heritage and economic development road along the Red River.

According to local reports, the Khoai Chau Golf Course Complex requires the reclamation of large areas: 500 hectares in Chau Ninh commune and 82 hectares in Khoai Chau commune. Meanwhile, the cultural heritage connection road is also reclaiming land in the following communes: 24.7 hectares in Khoai Chau, 19.5 hectares in Chau Ninh, 38.47 hectares in Me So, and 18.37 hectares in Van Giang.

To date, local authorities have essentially completed the handover of land managed by the commune People’s Committees to the construction units. They are also accelerating the recovery of land currently under the ownership of households and individuals.

At the inspection sites, Hung Yen provincial leaders commended the efforts of the communes in land clearance. They engaged in discussions with local leaders regarding emerging issues during the land recovery process. The leaders also directly communicated with residents whose land is being reclaimed in Chau Ninh commune, listening to their concerns and providing specific guidance on rights and responsibilities during the land handover.

The provincial leaders emphasized that during the land reclamation process, communes must create the most favorable conditions for residents while strictly adhering to the provisions of the Land Law and the province’s guidelines on compensation and support. Additionally, communication efforts should be intensified to ensure residents fully understand and comply with the land handover policy, facilitating the timely implementation of key projects.

They also affirmed that the province will strictly address any acts of policy exploitation during land clearance, ensuring the legitimate rights of residents are protected.

The Khoai Chau Urban Complex, Eco-Tourism, and Golf Course project covers nearly 1,000 hectares, with a total investment exceeding $1.5 billion (approximately VND 40 trillion).

Meanwhile, the project to construct the cultural heritage and economic development road along the Red River spans over 56 km, starting from Km0 00 at the Hung Yen – Hanoi boundary (in Xuan Quan commune, former Van Giang district, adjacent to Ecopark Urban Area) and ending at Km55 680 at the left bank of the Red River (in Tan Hung commune, former Hung Yen city).
