According to the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation, in 2025, businesses in the province are expected to recruit over 190,000 workers, with more than 136,000 being unskilled laborers in the electronics, textile, and woodworking industries.
The recruitment demand is concentrated in vibrant industrial zones such as Dong Xoai, Minh Hung, Chon Thanh, Bien Hoa, along with Trang Bom, Long Thanh, and Nhon Trach.
Many companies are accelerating recruitment with large numbers, notably Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Tan Trieu Ward), which needs over 1,000 unskilled workers in the footwear industry. Jason Furniture Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Dong Xoai III Industrial Park, Binh Phuoc Ward), specializing in sofa manufacturing for export, is hiring hundreds of sewing and assembly workers. Topband Smart Dong Nai Co., Ltd. (Long Thanh Commune) requires 500 electrical industry workers.
To attract talent, companies are offering attractive benefits such as productivity bonuses, attendance rewards, shuttle services, accommodation, and comprehensive welfare packages.
Despite the surge in recruitment demand, the local labor supply remains insufficient, particularly for unskilled workers. Many businesses are facing labor shortages, hindering production and business plans, especially during peak seasons when export orders increase significantly.

As the nation’s industrial hub, Dong Nai has a high demand for labor, especially unskilled workers.
From the beginning of 2025 to early August 2025, nearly 3,600 businesses in the province reported a need for over 88,000 workers. The demand is primarily in the textile, footwear, furniture, and electronics sectors, with unskilled labor accounting for over 50%.
However, the Dong Nai Department of Home Affairs reports that only 20-30% of the labor demand has been met.
To enhance labor recruitment, Dong Nai has implemented various measures. The Provincial Labor Federation, for instance, posts job openings on its Facebook page to reach potential workers.
Additionally, the province has intensified job counseling and established job centers. In the first eight months of 2025, the Dong Nai Employment Service Center provided job counseling to over 85,000 workers, placed more than 9,000 workers, and organized nine job fairs with nearly 170 participating companies.
The center also plans to host regular and mobile job fairs and introduce businesses to remote areas (formerly part of Binh Phuoc Province) for recruitment.
The Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation emphasizes that, beyond increasing benefits, companies must create a comfortable, cohesive work environment and ensure long-term job security to attract and retain workers.
