Vinhomes Green Paradise: A Sustainable Coastal Paradise in Can Gio
Nestled at the seaside of Long Hoa commune and Can Thanh town, Vinhomes Green Paradise spans 2,870 hectares with an investment of over $10 billion. This ambitious project is envisioned as a true ESG++ city within the Mega City, formed by the merger of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Ba Ria, and Vung Tau. Its prime location adjoins the UNESCO-recognized Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve.

Harnessing Offshore Wind Power for a Greener Future
Environmentally, the project pioneers renewable energy by harnessing offshore wind power from a 20km-distant wind farm, ensuring a stable green energy supply. Backup power relies exclusively on battery storage, eliminating diesel generators. All intra-urban vehicles, from trucks to fire engines and electric boats, will operate on 100% electric power.
A standout feature is the potable tap water system, a rarity in Vietnam. In Europe, cities like Vienna (since 1873), Amsterdam, and Copenhagen have provided drinkable tap water for over a century. By the late 19th century, cities such as Maidstone and Lincoln adopted chlorine disinfection, eradicating waterborne diseases. Today, most European cities enjoy this standard.
In Vietnam, however, outdated infrastructure makes this challenging. Vinhomes Green Paradise aims to change this, while Saigon Water Corporation (Sawaco) plans to achieve potable tap water citywide post-2025. In 2024, Sawaco began implementing drinking water stations as part of its 2020-2030 plan.

Smart Water Management: QR Code Monitoring for Public Drinking Stations
Sawaco’s drinking stations are managed via proprietary software, with water quality data accessible via QR codes on each unit, ensuring transparency and public trust.
