Regarding the “River Gate Residence apartment fire in Ho Chi Minh City,” on October 21, the Khanh Hoi Ward Police are continuing their investigation into the cause.

The burned apartment was identified as the bedroom of unit 27.10 on the 27th floor, Block A, River Gate Residence (Khanh Hoi Ward), owned by Ms. L. (36 years old).
According to the investigation, at 4:10 PM on October 20, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department’s Fire Prevention and Rescue Division received a fire report at River Gate Residence.
Eleven specialized vehicles and 66 officers were swiftly deployed to the scene to extinguish the fire. The blaze was completely extinguished by 5:30 PM.
During the firefighting operation, police guided 300 residents to safety and rescued two individuals trapped on the 27th-floor balcony.
The fire caused damage to approximately 50 out of 68 square meters of the apartment, along with various items such as air conditioners, refrigerators, fans, clothing, and more.
