“The Party Serves the People, the People Trust the Party”
At the opening session on October 20, Mr. Do Van Chien, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, presented the synthesized report of voters’ and citizens’ opinions and recommendations for the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Mr. Do Van Chien emphasized that voters and citizens highly appreciated the Party and the State for successfully organizing the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day on September 2. The exhibition showcasing the nation’s achievements on the 80th National Day was also commendable.
On this occasion, the Party and the State gifted every individual 100,000 VND, stirring deep patriotic emotions and national pride. This gesture demonstrated the Party and State’s special care for the people’s well-being, strengthening the bond of “The Party Serves the People, the People Trust the Party.”

Voters and citizens also expressed their trust in the ongoing fight against corruption, waste, and negativity, which has yielded significant results. Preventive measures are becoming more substantive and effective, closely linked to the Party’s efforts to build and rectify a clean and strong political system.
According to Mr. Do Van Chien, voters and citizens are keenly interested in the Party Congresses at the commune and provincial levels, especially the 14th National Party Congress. They believe that the Party, State, and all levels of government are united in their vision to lead the nation into a new era of prosperity, civilization, and happiness.
Standardizing the Commune-Level Civil Servant Workforce
However, many voters and citizens expressed concerns about the U.S. tariff policies, which, despite adjustments, still pose significant risks to Vietnam’s key export industries. They are also worried about the impact of global inflation, unpredictable fluctuations in gold and real estate prices, and rising costs of raw materials and electricity.

Concerns were also raised about fire safety violations, which continue to pose risks of deadly incidents. The frequent natural disasters, compounded by consecutive storms and floods, have caused severe damage to lives, property, and livelihoods.
Notably, flooding and traffic congestion in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City remain unresolved. Voters and citizens eagerly await more fundamental and feasible solutions from the Party and State to combat natural disasters, adapt to climate change, and protect land, water, and air quality, ensuring a stable and safe life for the people.
Based on these opinions and recommendations, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front proposes that the Party and State continue to provide strong leadership and issue guidelines and measures to ensure the effective operation of local governments after reorganization and consolidation, making them leaner, more efficient, and more effective.
Additionally, there is a need to invest in and upgrade digital infrastructure, synchronize national databases on population and land, reduce administrative procedures across all sectors, and finalize job positions and staffing levels to implement the new wage policy. Special attention should be given to training and standardizing the commune-level civil servant workforce in terms of qualifications, capabilities, and responsibilities.
The Presidium also urges the Party and State to intensify efforts to combat the production, trade, and transportation of counterfeit and substandard goods, and to strictly penalize those spreading false information that harms the interests of individuals, organizations, the Party, and the State.
