However, Apple continues to sell 128GB variants like the iPhone 16 and 16e, catering to budget-conscious buyers. Starting at just VND 24,990,000, these models appeal to those seeking an affordable entry into the iPhone ecosystem without prioritizing performance or storage.

While the price is attractive, the question remains: Is 128GB sufficient for today’s users? For basic tasks like calling, texting, browsing, and social media, 128GB may suffice. Yet, for gamers, photographers, or videographers, this quickly becomes limiting.

Popular games like World of Tanks Blitz (12GB), War Thunder Mobile (3.5GB+), and Real Racing 3 (up to 10GB) consume significant space. Add system files and essential apps, and 128GB fills up fast.

For avid photographers and videographers, the issue is critical. On average, iPhone photo and video libraries exceed 130GB, rendering 128GB insufficient even without additional apps. Storage needs grow over time due to data retention, app installations, and OS updates.

Unlike Android devices, iPhones lack microSD support, leaving users with limited expansion options. Offloading data to external drives or computers via USB-C/Lightning is cumbersome.
