In addition to early bookings, Mitsubishi is offering exclusive promotions for customers who place official orders from October 15, 2025, until the vehicle’s official launch. The incentives include a premium window tinting package and a service voucher valued at 14.5 million VND.
From October 15 to December 31, 2025, Platinum-tier Mitsubishi customers, based on their service points, will receive an additional service voucher worth 15 million VND when booking the Destinator. They will also get a 3 million VND service voucher for upgrading or replacing their current Mitsubishi vehicle. This brings the total promotional value to an impressive 33 million VND.
Mitsubishi has also hinted at a “competitive price” for the Destinator, though no specific figure has been disclosed. Dealerships suggest a starting price of over 700 million VND.
Early Insights on the Destinator for Vietnam
Alongside the booking announcement, Mitsubishi has revealed additional details about the Destinator’s specifications for the Vietnamese market.
The vehicle will feature a 1.5L turbo engine with five driving modes. Similar to the Indonesian model, this engine delivers 161 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission and front-wheel drive. Among the five modes, the Tarmac mode stands out as a new addition. Other modes include Normal, Mud, Wet, and Gravel.

Inside, the cabin boasts an 8-inch display behind the steering wheel and a 12.3-inch central touchscreen. These features are likely exclusive to premium variants. In Indonesia, the base model features an 8-inch central screen and a 4.2-inch display with analog gauges behind the wheel.

Approximately two months ago, several Destinator units were spotted in Vietnam, revealing that the local variant will include ADAS. In Indonesia, the ADAS package offers adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic headlights, and a 360-degree camera system.

If the anticipated price starts above 700 million VND, the Mitsubishi Destinator will compete directly with mid-size SUVs like the Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Tucson, and Ford Territory. With a wheelbase of 2,815 mm, the Destinator rivals larger SUVs such as the Hyundai Santa Fe in terms of space and comfort.
