The 13th Party Central Committee Conference has just successfully concluded, marking an important step in preparing for the 14th National Party Congress, while shaping the strategic vision and leadership direction for the country in the new revolutionary period.

Additionally, there are practical and meaningful activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first general election of the Vietnamese National Assembly. Therefore, the 10th Session not only summarizes the term but also marks the beginning of a new development period.

According to the session’s agenda, over approximately 40 days, the National Assembly will review, discuss, and decide on a substantial volume of work, much of which holds significant strategic importance.

It is expected that the National Assembly will consider and adopt 53 laws and resolutions. This is the largest legislative workload in the history of National Assembly sessions, vividly demonstrating the spirit that the law must be one step ahead, paving the way for innovation and creativity, with the lives and interests of the people as the measure of policy.

They promptly institutionalize the Party’s new policies and resolutions, focusing on removing institutional bottlenecks, especially in land, investment, planning, construction, environment, and energy; as well as healthying the corporate bond and real estate markets.

Also during the session, the National Assembly will review and decide on adjustments to the National Master Plan for the 2021-2030 period; ratify agreements in the field of foreign affairs as proposed by the President; and consider and decide on personnel matters within its jurisdiction. Additionally, the session will allocate time for the National Assembly to discuss and provide input on draft documents for the 14th National Party Congress.

National Assembly Deputies to Maximize Wisdom and Experience

The National Assembly Chairman noted that in recent days, many provinces and cities have suffered from natural disasters, with consecutive storms, floods, landslides, and widespread flooding, causing heavy losses in human life and property for the state and the people.

The National Assembly sends its deepest condolences and sympathy to the affected localities; and commends the Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front, military and police forces, healthcare and education personnel, organizations, individuals, and other forces who have braved dangers to provide relief, arrange accommodations, and quickly overcome the consequences, ensuring students can return to school.

With the spirit of “Innovation, Democracy, Discipline, Responsibility, and Efficiency,” National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man asked the National Assembly deputies to focus intensely and maximize their wisdom and experience, all for the sake of the nation and the people; as General Secretary To Lam stated on the morning of September 2, 2025, at the historic Ba Dinh Square: “No obstacle, no reason can hinder our path to peace, prosperity, and the enduring development of our nation.”
