A Toyota dealership in Hanoi has unexpectedly revealed that the Innova Cross will soon introduce an additional variant. This new version is expected to be a standard model with essential features, filling the gap left by the Innova E MT, which was discontinued in Vietnam.
Previously, the Innova E MT was priced at 755 million VND. Sales consultants predict that the new Innova Cross variant could be priced similarly, around 750-760 million VND. Additionally, insiders suggest the vehicle may launch in December this year, with deliveries to customers expected before the Lunar New Year.

In terms of performance, the new variant is expected to mirror the existing Innova Cross V. It will likely feature a 2.0L gasoline engine delivering 150 horsepower and 188Nm of torque, paired with an automatic transmission. This is an upgrade compared to the manual transmission of the previous Innova E MT.
As a budget-friendly option, the new Innova Cross variant is anticipated to have fewer features than the current V model. While details remain undisclosed, experts predict it will include fabric seats with manual adjustments, halogen headlights, no 360-degree camera, and no paddle shifters. These features align with those of the former Innova E MT.

Furthermore, the vehicle will not include the Toyota Safety Sense safety package, a sunroof, daytime running lights, or second-row captain’s chairs. These omissions are consistent with the current Innova Cross V, which also lacks these features.
