Trung Nam Ca Na Industrial Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company, the developer of the Ca Na Industrial Zone project (Phase 1), has finalized the environmental impact assessment report and is set to commence the 378-hectare project with a total investment of approximately VND 3,875.9 billion.
Located in the southern region of Khanh Hoa province, the project is part of the comprehensive plan for the Ca Na Industrial Zone, spanning over 827 hectares. It aims to develop a multi-sector industrial park, prioritizing clean, high-tech, and environmentally friendly industries, along with supporting sectors.

According to the feasibility study, approximately 170 hectares of land used for salt production, aquaculture, and forestry will be converted into industrial land. This includes 18.35 hectares of protected forest, 14.22 hectares of salt farms, and over 159 hectares of aquaculture land. The salt farms are currently managed and operated by Ca Na Ninh Thuan Salt Joint Stock Company and local residents.
Additionally, the project is expected to reclaim nearly 191 hectares of land from 132 households, directly impacting the livelihoods of farming and salt-producing families.
Furthermore, around 220 graves in the Yen Ngua Cemetery will be relocated. The developer has committed to working with local authorities to ensure full compensation, resettlement support, vocational training, and social welfare for affected residents.
Given the use of protected forest areas and potential impacts on the Quan The stream during construction, the project is considered environmentally sensitive.
The developer assures the implementation of technical measures to meet standards for wastewater, noise, and occupational safety.
Aligned with Khanh Hoa province’s industrial development strategy, the Ca Na Industrial Zone is a key infrastructure project, poised to become a coastal industrial, service, and logistics hub, driving economic growth in the South Central region.
