The BMW Golf Cup, established in 1982, stands as one of the world’s largest amateur golf tournaments. With over 100,000 participants from 40 countries, only the top 350 golfers advance to compete for the championship title.
In recent years, Vietnam’s representatives at the BMW Golf Cup World Final have achieved remarkable success. At the 2023 edition in South Africa, golfers Trần Diệu Tuấn, Nguyễn Anh Tuấn, and Trần Hương Hà secured the runner-up position with 278 points. In 2024, held in Thailand, the Vietnamese team—Nguyễn Thị Quỳnh Như, Tạ Quang Dương, and Trịnh Sơn Tùng—made history by clinching the National Team Category title with a total score of 302, surpassing China (297) and Japan (291) at the Alpine Golf Club.

Building on this momentum, the BMW Golf Cup 2025 National Final Vietnam promises to be an exciting platform to select the next three champions for the World Final in March 2025, also in South Africa.
Tournament Format and Eligibility
The BMW Golf Cup 2025 National Final Vietnam will use the Stableford scoring system, which awards points based on performance per hole rather than total strokes. The tournament is divided into three categories: Men’s A (Handicap 0-12), Men’s B (Handicap 13-24), and Women’s (Handicap 0-36). The event will take place on November 8, 2025, at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course, 6 Tan Son, An Hoi Tay Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
This year, THACO AUTO offers priority entries for BMW owners as follows:
Priority 1: Customers purchasing BMWs in October 2025 (30 slots)
Priority 2: Customers purchasing BMWs from January to September 2025 (40 slots)
Priority 3: Customers purchasing BMWs in 2023-2024 (50 slots)
(*) Eligible golfers must own and have taken delivery of a BMW from THACO AUTO’s authorized dealerships.
Eligibility Criteria:
Exclusive to BMW owners distributed by Thaco Auto.
For corporate customers, each BMW owned allows one representative to participate (appointment letter required before the tournament).
Potential customers, past World Final participants, and non-BMW owners are ineligible for the 2025 World Final in South Africa.
Female golfers must have a Handicap below 36.
Male golfers must have a Handicap below 24 (those with Handicaps 25-36 will be adjusted to 24 for scoring).
Potential customers, guests, and past World Final participants may only compete for second and third place, technical awards, and HIO.
Participation Fees:
BMW owners distributed by Thaco Auto: Fully sponsored by Thaco Auto.
Fees cover green fees, caddies, buggies, lunch, and gala dinner. Accommodation, travel, and other expenses are the participant’s responsibility.
Beyond the tournament, BMW will showcase its premium models at the event, allowing guests to explore and experience the vehicles throughout the competition.
