T&T Group Invests Over $3.8 Billion in Central Vietnam’s Strategic Gateway, Launching Projects from Airports to Urban Complexes, Golf Courses, and Spiritual Developments

T&T Group is spearheading multiple large-scale projects in Quang Tri, with a total investment exceeding 87 trillion VND.

Recently, the People’s Committee of Quang Tri Province held a meeting with T&T Group Joint Stock Company to review the progress of ongoing projects under research, survey, and investment within the province.

During the meeting, representatives from T&T Group reported that the real estate projects under study and development include: Gio Hai Service and Tourism Area, spanning 13.45 hectares with a total investment of VND 3,690 billion, located in Cu Viet Commune; Eastern Urban Area of Dong Ha City (old), covering 48.96 hectares with an estimated investment of VND 10,000 billion; and Cam Lo Complex Urban, Resort, and Golf Course, situated in Cam Lo Commune, spanning approximately 378.88 hectares with a projected investment of VND 20,000 billion. Additionally, the Aviation Industry Complex – Logistics – Services – Trade and Quang Tri Airport Urban Area is proposed for development across 10,800 hectares.

The Quang Tri Airport Project is currently under construction, with a total investment of VND 5,821.073 billion and a 50-year implementation timeline.

The energy projects include: Hai Lang LNG Phase 1, with a capacity of 1,500 MW and an investment of VND 59,415.52 billion; Quang Tri LNG, totaling VND 58 trillion with a 1,500 MW capacity; 220kV Transmission Line Connecting Savan 1 Wind Power Plant from Laos to Vietnam, spanning 15 km with 45 220kV towers connected to Lao Bao 220kV Substation, covering 2.86 hectares; and the proposed Quang Binh Biomass Power Plant.

The spiritual projects include: Ba Long Historical Relic Site, with an estimated investment of VND 12.5 billion; and the Restoration of the Historical Site “Sacrifice of 16 Youth Volunteers at Long Dai Ferry II”, completed and inaugurated on September 18, 2025.

T&T Group also detailed challenges in legal procedures and land clearance, proposing investment dossiers for renewable energy projects approved in Power Plan VIII (adjusted), totaling 1,071.5 MW across 11 wind and 3 solar projects.

Vice Chairman Le Duc Tien emphasized the need for suitable resettlement areas in energy projects, prioritizing timely construction to expedite land clearance and ensure residents’ stability.

Permanent Vice Chairman Hoang Nam urged stakeholders to accelerate approved projects. For the Gio Hai Service and Tourism Area, investors must finalize the 15-story building permit by Q4/2025 and complete the project by Q4/2026. The Provincial Economic Zone Management Board will address implementation hurdles.

For the Eastern Urban Area of Dong Ha City (old) and Cam Lo Complex Urban, Resort, and Golf Course, investment proposals must be submitted by October. T&T Group is requested to formally propose planning adjustments for the Aviation Industry Complex and Quang Tri Airport Urban Area. Contractors for Quang Tri Airport must intensify efforts to meet project deadlines.
