“Tự Long’s ‘Apple’ Rice: The World’s Finest Grain, Live Streamed”

Renowned Vietnamese artist, People's Artist Tu Long, will headline a special livestream event during the 2025 Vietnam Agricultural Products Week. Organized by the Domestic Market Management and Development Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the livestream will feature the acclaimed ST25 rice variety, showcasing Vietnam's agricultural excellence to a global audience.

As part of the Vietnam Agricultural Products Week 2025 held in Hanoi, the Domestic Market Management and Development Department is hosting a livestream session for the first time to promote the consumption of ST25 rice. The event features renowned artist NSND Tự Long, MC Mai Phương, and several social media content creators.

NSND Tự Long is widely recognized by television audiences for his iconic role as the Mandarin in the Lunar New Year comedy show.

The main livestream will take place from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on October 25th on the Tiktok Hello Vietnam channel, spotlighting ST25 rice—a variety once crowned the “world’s best rice.”

Three rice brands will be featured and sold during the event: ST25 Lúa Tôm, ST25 Ruộng Rươi, and Điện Biên Young Harvest Rice.

Viewers can purchase these products at special discounted prices, with no limit on the quantity and free nationwide shipping, making it easier for consumers to access high-quality Vietnamese rice at attractive prices.

The organizers selected ST25 rice as the flagship product for the livestream not only because of its proven quality but also as a symbol of Vietnamese agricultural pride.

According to the Domestic Market Management and Development Department, the event, hosted by the witty NSND Tự Long and the charming MC Mai Phương, promises a vibrant and engaging atmosphere, blending entertainment with valuable insights.

“Livestreaming for agricultural product consumption is an innovative approach that aligns with digital commerce trends,” said Trần Hữu Linh, Director of the Domestic Market Management and Development Department. “Through this initiative, we aim to promote the value of ST25 rice—a source of Vietnamese pride—and bring Vietnamese agricultural products closer to domestic consumers,” he emphasized.

NSND Tự Long has become a household name, particularly through his roles in the “Táo Quân” program, where he has portrayed various characters such as the Social Mandarin, Water Management Mandarin, Culture and Education Mandarin, Sports Mandarin, and Transportation Mandarin.
