On October 21st, in Finland, Vietjet Air and Airways Aviation Academy (Finland) signed a cooperation agreement for aviation workforce training. The event was witnessed by General Secretary To Lam, representatives of leaders and businesses from both countries, during a meeting with prominent Finnish enterprises as part of the General Secretary’s official visit to Finland.

Specifically, Airways Aviation will collaborate with Vietjet Aviation Academy (VJAA) to implement pilot training programs in Europe, adhering to standards set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV). Specialized MPL and CPL training programs aim to meet the demand for high-quality international personnel, supporting Vietjet’s global route expansion strategy and sustainable development in the region and internationally.

Vietnam and Finland aim to strengthen economic, scientific, technological, and innovative connections, as well as human resource development. Partnering with Airways Aviation allows Vietjet to contribute to a new era of cooperation between the two nations, based on creativity, knowledge, and sustainable growth.

Vietjet currently employs over 9,000 staff from more than 60 countries and territories, operating in various domestic and international markets. The airline continuously expands its network, attracting top talent. With an extensive network across the Asia-Pacific region, Vietjet plans to soon expand its routes to major markets in Europe and the Americas.

As an IATA training partner in Vietnam, Vietjet Aviation Academy (VJAA) has trained nearly 400,000 pilots, flight attendants, engineers, and dispatchers.
