On October 22, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) hosted the “Outstanding Vietnamese Female Entrepreneur – Golden Rose” award ceremony for 2025. This prestigious national title, organized by VCCI under the 2022 Emulation and Reward Law, is awarded every five years. It honors female entrepreneurs who excel in production, business, and contribute significantly to Vietnam’s socio-economic development.

Ms. Ngô Thu Hà, CEO of Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB), was among the Top 10 female entrepreneurs honored at this year’s ceremony.

Born in 1973, Ms. Ngô Thu Hà holds a Ph.D. in Economics and is a member of CPA Australia, with 31 years of experience in finance and banking. She joined SHB in 2008 and was appointed CEO in September 2022.

During her tenure at SHB, Ms. Ngô Thu Hà has held key positions, driving the bank’s remarkable growth. SHB has become a leading financial institution in Vietnam, with regional and international reach. It ranks among the Top 5 private commercial banks in Vietnam by charter capital, Top 10 most reputable private commercial banks (Vietnam Report), and is listed in Fortune’s Top 200 largest companies in Southeast Asia.

Individually, Ms. Ngô Thu Hà has received numerous accolades from domestic and international organizations, recognizing her leadership, innovation, and commitment to corporate social responsibility. Notably, she was awarded the “Outstanding Asian Entrepreneur 2024” by Enterprise Asia.
