The wedding of Miss Đỗ Thị Hà and businessman Nguyễn Viết Vương took place in a grand setting, constructed on a vast plot spanning thousands of square meters in the Nam Cầu Dài urban area, Đồng Hới ward, Quảng Trị province.
The wedding menu impressed with its gourmet offerings, featuring high-end seafood dishes such as pan-seared salmon, abalone in mushroom sauce, and lobster steamed in beer. Notably, the dessert choice was Phúc Trạch pomelo, a refreshing fruit symbolizing prosperity and abundance.
According to reports, the pomelos served at the wedding were sourced from Choa Cooperative (Phúc Trạch commune, Hà Tĩnh province), owned by Mr. Trần Xuân Loát (born in 1988) and Mrs. Nguyễn Huyền Ân (born in 1991).

Mrs. Huyền Ân shared that on October 12th, a wedding organizer from Đồng Hới contacted them to order 350 Phúc Trạch pomelos for a “special event,” without revealing it was Miss Đỗ Thị Hà’s wedding.
“We sent samples of our organically grown pomelos for their selection. By October 20th, we carefully harvested and packaged all 350 fruits as ordered. Upon learning it was for Miss Đỗ Thị Hà’s wedding, my husband and I were deeply moved and proud that our hometown’s product was chosen for such a special occasion,” Mrs. Huyền Ân said.

Both Mr. Loát and Mrs. Ân are alumni of Danang University of Education. After graduating, they returned to his hometown in Hà Tĩnh to start their business. In 2021, they established Choa Cooperative, specializing in cultivating and marketing Phúc Trạch pomelos.
By adopting clean agricultural practices and leveraging digital platforms for promotion and sales, their products have gained widespread recognition and a strong market presence.
Mr. Phan Quốc Thanh, Vice Chairman of Phúc Trạch Commune People’s Committee, expressed the local government and residents’ pride in having Phúc Trạch pomelo selected as the exclusive dessert for Miss Đỗ Thị Hà’s wedding.
“The Nguyễn Viết Vương family could have chosen any premium fruit, but selecting Phúc Trạch pomelo was a refined choice. This fruit is not only visually appealing but also boasts a distinctive aroma, making it perfect for significant events like weddings,” Mr. Thanh remarked.

According to Mr. Thanh, the 350 pomelos used in the wedding were grown in an organic, eco-friendly orchard. This model avoids pesticides, relies on organic fertilizers, preserves grass cover, and utilizes natural pest control, ensuring sustainable growth and safe, high-quality fruits for consumers.
Currently, Phúc Trạch commune has approximately 550 hectares of pomelo cultivation, with 470 hectares in production, yielding an estimated 6,580 tons annually, valued at around 150 billion VND. Phúc Trạch pomelos are popular in Nghệ An and Hanoi, and are expanding to northern and southern provinces, as well as being exported internationally.
This product has been honored among Vietnam’s Top 50 famous fruits, received a geographical indication from the Intellectual Property Office, and is renowned as Hà Tĩnh’s “premier fruit.”
