Thousands of workers toil day and night, bringing the vision of Vinhomes Green Paradise to life.
This eco-conscious city features a symphony of attractions: entertainment complexes, beachfront resorts, a theater, golf courses, and artificial lagoons, all seamlessly integrated into the natural landscape.
The crowning jewel is a 108-story iconic tower at Hai Dang Cape, poised to become a symbol of Vietnam’s architectural and green building prowess. Upon completion, the project aims to attract 40 million visitors annually, establishing itself as Ho Chi Minh City’s largest seaside metropolis.
Phan Thien Ly, Sales Director of Vinhomes Green Paradise, announced that construction of low-rise residences, golf courses, a theater, and amusement parks within this reclaimed land city will commence by year-end.
Phase two, focusing on road infrastructure and technical facilities, is slated for mid-2026.
Upcoming attractions include two 18-hole golf courses: West – Sunset, designed by Tiger Woods, and East – Sunrise, by Robert Trent Jones. A 122-hectare entertainment complex will feature a water park, roller coasters, cinemas, and a theater.
To enhance accessibility, Vingroup will sponsor three 200-ton ferries for the Binh Khanh – Can Gio route and cover operational costs. Additionally, the Ben Luc – Long Thanh Expressway interchange with Rung Sac Road, expected to start in mid-2026, will provide faster access to Long Thanh International Airport via National Highway 51.
Vingroup plans to launch a high-speed rail line connecting downtown Ho Chi Minh City to Can Gio by late 2025 or early 2026. This two-year project, with an estimated cost of $4 billion, will reduce travel time to just 12 minutes.
This urban high-speed rail project, proposed by Vingroup, will revolutionize travel between Ho Chi Minh City center and Can Gio, completing the journey in a mere 12 minutes.
Can Gio’s unique riverine and coastal location presents distinct geological challenges, characterized by layers of soft clayey silt and sandy clay.
Extensive surveys reveal a top layer of soft clayey silt (18-24 meters deep), followed by firmer sandy clay. At 36-40 meters, the soil becomes dense and suitable for large-scale construction. Understanding Can Gio’s geology, Vinhomes and its partners have devised a tailored land reclamation solution.
Vinhomes Green Paradise employs cutting-edge land treatment technology, advised by Dutch experts renowned for their land reclamation and water management expertise, ensuring the project’s long-term stability and sustainability.
Leading foundation design consultants have recommended driving piles to the stable soil layer at 36-40 meters for low-rise buildings.
For high-rise structures, bored piles or barrettes will be used, reaching the dense soil layer at 65-80 meters, a technique successfully implemented by Vinhomes in Central Park and Golden River projects.
The project utilizes advanced sand spraying technology and a unique balanced excavation-backfilling method, sourcing most fill material from within the planned area to minimize environmental impact.
Furthermore, the project incorporates eco-friendly solutions like mangrove reforestation, ecosystem preservation, and climate change adaptation, creating a harmonious blend of nature and architecture in this remarkable seaside city.
