In response to the delayed construction progress, Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, has directed the Provincial Project Management Board to urge contractors to accelerate the implementation of Component 3 of the Ring Road 3 Project in Ho Chi Minh City, specifically the section passing through Dong Nai province.

Currently, the construction progress of the three contract packages has reached 47% of the contract value, falling 4.4% behind schedule. To ensure the commitment of opening the road to traffic by December 19, Chairman Vo Tan Duc has mandated the Provincial Project Management Board to strictly adhere to the provincial government’s 140-day plan for completing the technical clearance of the Ring Road 3 Project. Contractors are required to demonstrate greater determination, increase manpower and equipment, and organize work in “3 shifts, 4 teams” to meet the deadline.

The provincial leadership has also instructed the Dong Nai Land Fund Development Center to direct its Nhon Trach branch to collaborate with the People’s Committee of Phuoc An Commune in definitively resolving and handing over eight high-voltage electricity pole locations to the Provincial Project Management Board. This is to facilitate the relocation of the electrical system within the project area, ensuring uninterrupted construction.

Chairman Vo Tan Duc emphasized that these projects are of paramount importance, not only for Dong Nai but also for the Southeast region and the entire country. The completion timeline will serve as a critical measure of each unit’s responsibility and capability.
