Vietjet Shareholders Set to Receive 20% Stock Dividend

Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (HOSE: VJC) has announced a stock dividend plan, offering a 20% dividend payout to shareholders. This means that for every 100 shares held, shareholders will receive an additional 20 new shares.

Vietjet has proactively taken over ground handling services at Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat International Airports, enhancing service quality and improving on-time flight performance.

“Double Joy” for Investors

The total number of shares Vietjet plans to issue is 118.3 million, corresponding to a total par value of over 1.183 trillion VND.

The issuance is expected to take place in Q4/2025 or Q1/2026, following the completion of necessary procedures.

Post-issuance, Vietjet‘s chartered capital is projected to exceed 7,000 billion VND, with consolidated equity surpassing 24,000 billion VND. The additional capital will bolster the company’s long-term financial strength.

The 20% dividend payout is a “double joy” for Vietjet investors and shareholders. Alongside receiving high dividends, the value of VJC shares is set to rise significantly, as foreign investors have been net buyers in recent trading sessions. As of October 23, VJC closed at 184,000 VND per share.

As of October 23, Vietjet‘s market capitalization stands at 109,000 billion VND.

Solid Foundation for Growth Potential

The value of VJC shares stems from the airline’s robust growth in operations since the beginning of the year and its promising outlook. This includes new aircraft orders and the ongoing development of aviation infrastructure.

Demonstrating sustainable development and readiness to meet the increasing year-end travel and trade demands, Vietjet has added a new A330 wide-body aircraft, bringing its total fleet, including Vietjet Thailand and Vietjet Kazakhstan, to 130 aircraft.

Vietjet has commenced construction of the Aircraft Maintenance Technical Center at Long Thanh International Airport. This is one of 80 key projects launched to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025), marking a significant milestone for Vietjet and Vietnam’s aviation industry.

Vietjet has begun construction of the Aircraft Maintenance Technical Center at Long Thanh International Airport, a pivotal development for Vietjet and Vietnam’s aviation sector.

As a pioneer in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) usage, Vietjet has partnered with Petrolimex Aviation to pilot SAF, a crucial step in the aviation industry’s green transition.

By taking over ground handling services at Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat International Airports, Vietjet has enhanced service quality and achieved a leading on-time performance rate in September 2025.

These proactive initiatives, coupled with an extensive network across the Asia-Pacific region, position Vietjet to target major markets in Europe and the Americas. The airline is set to become a global carrier, attracting top talent and offering increasingly international services and products. Analysts predict continued strong growth for VJC in the coming period.
