Flooring Material Trends

According to the latest report from Market Data Forecast, the global flooring market was valued at $361.54 billion in 2024, projected to reach $386.23 billion in 2025 and $655.23 billion by 2033, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.83% from 2025 to 2033. The Asia-Pacific region leads the market, contributing 42.3% of the global share in 2024, driven by rapid urbanization and infrastructure development.

The report highlights a growing preference for eco-friendly and highly durable flooring materials, alongside increasing demand for waterproof and low-maintenance options.

Architect Lê Trương, Chairman of the Vietnam Interior Association, remarked, “Trends are not born naturally—they are the result of deliberate observation, selection, and creation. In design, trends must reflect identity, societal needs, and the spirit of the times.”

This shift extends beyond interior design, reflecting a broader change in lifestyle: people are investing in long-lasting, sustainable, and serene living environments.

In Vietnam, as urban development accelerates and the demand for high-quality living spaces rises, consumers are prioritizing flooring materials that combine aesthetic appeal, durability, and environmental friendliness.
