The “Golden Rose – Outstanding Vietnamese Female Entrepreneur” award aims to inspire and empower Vietnamese women entrepreneurs, aligning with Resolution 41 of the Politburo on building and promoting the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the new context, and Resolution 68 on private sector development.
Ms. Lê Nữ Thùy Dương was honored with the “Golden Rose 2025” title, recognizing her comprehensive contributions to corporate governance, social responsibility, and sustainable development. This accolade not only celebrates her personal achievements but also symbolizes the resilience, intelligence, and global aspirations of Vietnamese women in the era of integration, contributing significantly to the nation’s progress.

After completing her Master’s degree in Australia in 1997, Ms. Lê Nữ Thùy Dương returned to Vietnam amidst the family business’s struggles during the Asian financial crisis. Alongside her parents, Labor Heroes Lê Văn Kiểm and Trần Cẩm Nhung, she played a pivotal role in restructuring operations, strengthening governance and finance, and steering the company through its most challenging period.
These years honed her leadership with a focus on practicality, perseverance, and long-term value. Inspired by her parents’ dedication to national interests and community service, she embraced these principles as her own.
Over nearly three decades at KN Holdings, Ms. Dương has been instrumental in strategic shifts, shaping the company into a sustainable, multi-sector conglomerate operating in five core areas: real estate, renewable energy, industrial parks and logistics, services, and high-tech agriculture. Her diversified strategy has created a resilient ecosystem where each sector supports and balances the others, ensuring stability across economic cycles.

With integrity as her cornerstone, Ms. Dương pursues long-term development, aligning corporate interests with social responsibility and ethical values. Her consistent commitment, clear goals, and steadfast execution have made KN Holdings a trusted partner for international investors, including Capitaland, Keppel Land (Singapore), and Maeda (Japan). Together, they have developed iconic luxury residential projects in Ho Chi Minh City, such as Vista An Phú, Vista Verde, Feliz En Vista, Waterina Suite, and Define.

Beyond urban real estate, Ms. Dương and KN Holdings’ Board of Directors have expanded their vision to large-scale, sustainable projects. These include the nearly 800-hectare CaraWorld seaside megacity in Cam Ranh, three operational solar power plants in Khanh Hoa, and two industrial parks in Dong Nai (Nam Long Thanh and Dong Long Thanh, Phase 1 each covering 1,000 hectares). Each project reflects modern development, technological innovation, and environmental harmony.
Philanthropic Initiatives with a Spirit of Service
While resilience has been her foundation in business, a spirit of service fuels her enduring commitment. For Ms. Dương, social contribution is not an obligation but a mission. Over the years, she, her family, and KN Holdings have donated over VND 2.9 trillion across five key areas: healthcare, education, environment, gratitude initiatives, and disaster relief.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the group donated over VND 600 billion for frontline efforts. In 2024, responding to the government’s call, KN Holdings contributed VND 180 billion to eradicate temporary and leaky houses nationwide. Ms. Dương also personally donated USD 3 million to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, boosting Vietnam’s support to USD 13.5 million in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the U.S. government.
She champions sustainable volunteerism through initiatives like “Toilets for Children,” building over 100 facilities in remote areas (2023–2025), and the 2019 “Swing for Trường Sa” golf tournament, raising over VND 136 billion for the islands, including her VND 12 billion contribution to the “Sweet Water for Trường Sa” project, bringing fresh water to Vietnam’s frontier islands.

As a VCCI Executive Board member and Vietnam Business Council leader, Ms. Dương actively advises on policies for a transparent business environment.
