In October, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee directed relevant agencies to review and propose auction or tender plans for prime beachfront land in Nha Trang. Besides the Sailing Club site, the Louisiane Restaurant (29 Tran Phu Street) is also under scrutiny.

The Louisiane Restaurant is also under review for potential revocation.
According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, the Louisiane Restaurant’s lease has expired. Spanning over 4,800 m², it has served domestic and international tourists for over 20 years along Nha Trang Beach.

Finally, the 26,000 m² site of the former Ana Mandara project is undergoing urgent inspections and reviews for auction or tender proposals. Previously the Evason Ana Mandara Resort, the site has been reclaimed by the state. The investor has demolished all structures and returned the cleared land.

The former Evason Ana Mandara Resort site is now more open after demolition.
The Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee aims to use these land auctions to boost revenue and enhance urban development. The goal is to create a “green, clean, and beautiful” eastern coastline along Tran Phu and Pham Van Dong Streets, featuring international-standard community facilities.

Part of the former Ana Mandara site now serves as a parking area for locals and tourists.
Under the new urban design plan, these three prime locations will become key development hubs for services and the night economy. The former Ana Mandara site will transform into the Nha Trang Seaside Village, featuring restaurants, souvenir shops, entertainment areas, a plaza, a bike path, and a seaside promenade.
The Sailing Club and Louisiane sites will become seaside clubs. Khanh Hoa plans to retain effective commercial and entertainment activities while removing unsuitable structures. This includes demolishing auxiliary buildings along Tran Phu Street to widen walkways and improve public access to the beach.

At a meeting on the urban design plan for the eastern side of Tran Phu – Pham Van Dong Streets, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan instructed the Provincial Land Development Center to finalize the Ana Mandara auction plan by March 1, 2026, ensuring compliance with zoning, current conditions, and development goals. For the Sailing Club and Louisiane sites, auction plans must focus on creating check-in points and promoting the night economy.

Some decisions require no grand announcements, yet they resonate deeply with millions of hearts. When the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee unanimously agreed to increase support for housing construction for the poor, near-poor, and those in difficult circumstances, it was more than a technical adjustment in social welfare policy. It was a vivid demonstration of a commitment to progress that leaves no one behind.

Without cobalt, the global electric vehicle industry would grind to a halt, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) holds over 70% of the world’s cobalt reserves. Additionally, the DRC boasts one of the largest copper reserves globally, further solidifying its critical role in the future of sustainable transportation and technology.
