Modern 100m² Townhouse Design: Living Room-Free Concept

A two-story townhouse, built on a 100 m² plot in a new urban area of Da Nang, is designed with a unique philosophy: eliminating the traditional living room. Instead, the kitchen, dining area, and backyard seamlessly merge to become the central hub for family connection, perfectly tailored for a household of four.

This East-West facing house, influenced by the Central region’s climate, features simple geometric shapes and a combination of solid and void wall sections. These design elements effectively regulate natural light and ventilation.

The ground floor is an open living space, seamlessly connecting the kitchen and dining area to the backyard. Natural light and breezes flow freely throughout.

The upper floors are designed with an open layout, fostering easy connectivity between areas and creating a sense of spaciousness, despite the modest actual size.
