On the morning of October 31st, Hưng Yên Province commenced construction on a 10-lane road spanning 24.8 km, connecting Thái Bình Ward to Hưng Hà Commune and linking to Phố Hiến Ward.
The project is led by the Project Management Unit No. 2 as the investor, with the joint venture of Xuan Quang Construction Joint Stock Company and Truong Son Construction Corporation handling the construction.
The total length of the project is approximately 24.8 km, starting at the intersection between the road leading to the TBS Song Tra Industrial Zone and National Highway 10 (in Thái Bình Ward), and ending at the Luộc River overpass (in Ngự Thiên Commune).

The road passes through 7 communes and wards: Thái Bình, Nam Tiên Hưng, Tiên Hưng, Hồng Minh, Hưng Hà, Tiên La, and Ngự Thiên.
The total investment for the project exceeds 4.9 trillion VND, divided into two phases: Phase 1 (from the intersection with National Highway 10 to Đồng Tu intersection) with a total budget of approximately 3,735 billion VND; Phase 2 (from Đồng Tu intersection to the right bank of the Luộc River) with a total budget of approximately 1,192 billion VND. The project is expected to be completed from 2025 to 2028.
The entire route includes 8 bridges and 9 at-grade intersections, ensuring safety, seamless connectivity, and integration with existing infrastructure. This is a key transportation project of significant importance in completing regional connectivity infrastructure, creating a new economic corridor, and fostering linkages between industrial zones and urban areas between Thái Bình – Hưng Yên provinces and the Red River Delta region.
