Honda Indonesia has officially unveiled the latest iteration of its popular entry-level scooter, the Honda Genio. The 2026 update introduces vibrant color schemes, making it an even more appealing choice for young riders seeking a stylish yet practical commute.
Retaining its compact and agile design, the new Genio continues to cater to urban commuters looking for a scooter that aligns with their lifestyle. The refreshed aesthetics feature bold color combinations while preserving its classic charm.
The CBS variant stands out with two striking tri-tone options: Vibrant Tri-Tone (red, white, blue) and Vibrant Black & White, both accented with white rims for a retro touch. Meanwhile, the CBS-ISS variant adopts a minimalist approach, offering muted tones like Fabulous Matte Brown, Fabulous Matte Blue, and Fabulous Matte Black, complemented by subtle striping for a modern edge.
Maintaining its signature compact dimensions, the Genio 2026 remains ideal for city navigation. The 12-inch wheels (100/90 front, 110/90 rear) ensure balanced handling and stability. Signature 3D-styled front apron and mudguard further enhance its dynamic and robust character.
Powering the Genio is Honda’s proven 110cc eSP engine with SOHC and PGM-FI fuel injection, delivering 8.8 hp at 7,500 rpm and 9.3 Nm at 5,500 rpm—comparable to the Vietnamese-spec Honda Vision. Fuel efficiency is rated at 1.69 L/100 km, enabling a range of up to 248 km per full tank. This engine also meets Euro 3 emissions standards, ensuring environmental compliance.
Safety features include a key-integrated seat opener, front disc brake with CBS (Combined Braking System), and a side-stand engine cut-off switch, enhancing rider control during emergency stops.
The 2026 Honda Genio is available in three variants: CBS, CBS Special Color, and CBS-ISS. Pricing starts at IDR 20,275,000 (approx. USD 1,350) for the base and special color models, while the top-tier CBS-ISS variant retails for IDR 20,695,000 (approx. USD 1,380).
