Following a solemn signing ceremony at the UK Foreign Office, Vietjet and Airbus officially exchanged the contract for 100 A321neo aircraft, witnessed by General Secretary To Lam, Vietnamese leaders, and Mr. Matt Western, UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy, during the Vietnam-UK High-Level Economic Conference.
Vietjet’s Chairwoman, Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, remarked: “This agreement transcends a commercial deal; it symbolizes trust, ambition, and a shared vision for sustainable development and global connectivity.”
Christian Scherer, CEO of Airbus Commercial, stated: “We are honored to partner with Vietjet, a symbol of Vietnam’s vibrant growth and emerging global stature.”
