On October 30, 2025, Vietjet and Rolls-Royce signed a landmark agreement for 92 Trent 7000 engines, including a comprehensive maintenance service package valued at $3.8 billion. The official signing ceremony was witnessed by General Secretary To Lam, Vietnamese leaders, and Mr. Matt Western, the UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy, during the Vietnam-UK High-Level Economic Conference.
