According to Auto-home, Zeekr, the electric vehicle brand under Geely, has unveiled the first images of the 2026 Zeekr X, a compact electric SUV set to debut in China on November 5th. The upgraded model introduces significant enhancements in performance and style while retaining the distinctive design that has set it apart in its segment.
Overall, the 2026 Zeekr X maintains its familiar proportions and silhouette, measuring 4,450 mm in length, 1,836 mm in width, 1,572 mm in height, and a 2,750 mm wheelbase. The vehicle features a striking two-tone body, combining a new matte “Seattle Green” finish with a contrasting black roof, enhancing its sporty and modern appeal.
Signature design elements such as the split LED headlights, hidden door handles, frameless doors, and a 1.5-meter-long lens-type rear light strip remain intact. The 1.21 m² panoramic sunroof continues as a standard feature. Zeekr also offers a range of 18–20-inch wheel options with various designs and brake calipers, catering to younger, style-conscious customers.
According to data from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the 2026 Zeekr X will be available in two powertrain configurations:
– RWD (Rear-Wheel Drive): Equipped with a 250 kW rear motor (equivalent to 335 hp), paired with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery.
– AWD (All-Wheel Drive): Features dual motors—115 kW at the front and 250 kW at the rear—delivering a combined output of 365 kW (489 hp), powered by a ternary lithium battery.
Both variants achieve a top speed of 190 km/h. The new “Golden Brick” battery system promises an extended range beyond the current 560 km CLTC rating of the 2025 model.
While interior images have not yet been released, D-Auto reports that Zeekr has upgraded materials and finishing details while maintaining its minimalist layout. The vehicle features a 14.6-inch floating touchscreen that can slide 353 mm toward the passenger, a digital instrument cluster, a head-up display (HUD), and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip for the infotainment system.
Currently, the Zeekr X is available in China with prices ranging from 149,000 to 179,000 RMB (approximately $20,900–$25,100). In August 2025, Zeekr sold 465 units of the Zeekr X, bringing the year’s total sales to 4,611 units.
With the 2026 model, Zeekr aims to strengthen its competitive edge against rivals such as the Smart #3, BYD Yuan Plus, and MG Mulan, while solidifying its position in the premium compact electric SUV segment within the domestic market.
