The Vietnamese Government has issued Decree 282/2025/NĐ-CP, outlining administrative penalties for violations in the fields of security, social order, safety, social vice prevention, and domestic violence prevention.
Under this decree, violations related to residency registration and management will incur a warning or a fine ranging from VND 500,000 to VND 1,000,000. These violations include:
– Failure to comply with legal provisions on permanent residence registration, temporary residence registration, removal of permanent residence registration, removal of temporary residence registration, household separation, and adjustment of residency information in the National Residency Database or residency information declaration;
– Failure to comply with legal provisions on lodging notification and temporary absence declaration;
– Failure to present residency-related documents or residency information on the National Identification Application upon request by authorized agencies or individuals.
The decree also imposes a fine of VND 4,000,000 to VND 6,000,000 for writing, disseminating, or circulating documents or images containing distorted, fabricated, or slanderous content that damages the reputation of agencies, organizations, or individuals.
Carrying banners, signs, or items with content opposing the policies of the Party or the laws of the State will also be subject to this penalty, except in cases already covered by Decree 15/2020/NĐ-CP (amended by Decree 14/2022/NĐ-CP).
These regulations will take effect from December 15, 2025.
Proposed Increase in Penalties for Real Estate Business Violations
The Ministry of Construction has proposed hefty fines for real estate businesses failing to meet regulatory requirements, with penalties reaching up to 200 million VND. Additionally, companies engaged in unqualified housing sales could face fines of up to 1 billion VND.
SZC Announces Receipt of Administrative Penalty Decision for Tax Violations
On October 31st, Sonadezi Chau Duc Joint Stock Company (HOSE: SZC) announced that it has received a decision imposing an administrative fine for tax violations, totaling VND 704.8 million.
