Gasoline Prices See a Slight Decline

Meanwhile, diesel 0.05S increased by 120 VND/liter compared to the current base price, to 19,323 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 124 VND/liter, to 19,395 VND/liter; and mazut 180CST 3.5S decreased by 319 VND/kg, to 14,320 VND/kg.

During this adjustment period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance continued to neither allocate nor use the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products.

Global Oil Prices Also Show Mixed Trends

According to the regulatory body, domestic fuel prices in this period reflect the global oil market dynamics.

The global oil market is influenced by key factors such as: the U.S. Federal Reserve (Fed) cutting interest rates; the U.S. dollar strengthening; U.S. crude oil inventories rising, while gasoline and distillate inventories falling; OPEC+ agreeing to slightly increase oil production in December 2025 and temporarily halting production increases in Q1-2026…

These factors have led to fluctuating global oil prices over the past few days, varying by product.

Thus, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance adjusted gasoline prices downward after a significant increase just one week ago. On the afternoon of October 30, E5RON92 gasoline increased by 710 VND/liter compared to the current base price, to 19,760 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline increased by 762 VND/liter, to 20,488 VND/liter.

Diesel 0.05S increased by 1,318 VND/liter, to 19,203 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 1,156 VND/liter, to 19,271 VND/liter; and mazut 180CST 3.5S increased by 541 VND/kg, to 14,639 VND/kg.
