Social welfare remains a cornerstone of HDBank’s sustainable development strategy. Beyond fostering economic growth for its customers, the bank actively collaborates with the government on community-focused initiatives.
Previously, HDBank actively participated in the government’s “National Campaign to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Housing,” aiming to eradicate substandard housing for the poor by 2030. Within just two years, the campaign surpassed its goals by five years, constructing or renovating over 334,000 homes, mobilizing nearly 25 trillion VND, and engaging millions of community labor days.
HDBank and its strategic partners contributed nearly 2,600 homes, providing secure housing for thousands of impoverished households and policy beneficiaries. In recognition, the Prime Minister awarded HDBank a Certificate of Merit in August 2025 for its exceptional contributions to social welfare and community development.
Beyond housing, HDBank champions diverse initiatives such as free eye surgeries for the underprivileged, rural bridge construction, and educational and healthcare support in remote areas. These enduring efforts embody HDBank’s ethos, where business value is intrinsically linked to humanitarian impact.
