The ceremony took place on Russia’s National Unity Day. A Vietnamese entrepreneur receiving this honor directly from President Putin at the Kremlin is a significant state-level recognition, not only for Thai Huong personally but also for TH Group’s investment strategy in Russia.
Speaking at the event, Labor Heroine Thai Huong expressed her deep emotion upon receiving this prestigious award. She extended her gratitude to President Vladimir Putin, the Russian Federation government, and the leaders of the Russian provinces where TH has invested.

She also thanked the Vietnamese Party, State, and people for their support and enabling TH Group to invest in Russia. Thai Huong emphasized, “The land will bloom,” and the friendship between the two nations will remain strong.
In a post-event interview, Thai Huong shared that two of the three most influential men in her entrepreneurial life are from the Soviet Union and Russia: Pavel Korchagin (from *How the Steel Was Tempered*) and President Vladimir Putin.
The Chairwoman of TH Group’s Strategic Council highlighted that the most meaningful aspect for her is the product strategy. Investing in dairy production during Russia’s embargo period holds special significance.
“TH shares the milk shortage with Russia and its people during the embargo, though not extensively, but it’s a gesture of goodwill and a pathway to integrate technology and management science into agriculture,” Thai Huong stated.
This high-level recognition comes as TH’s project in Russia achieves significant milestones. In May, the group inaugurated a fresh milk processing plant in Kaluga with a phase-one capacity of 500 tons/day, expected to double by 2026.

The 15-hectare plant, located in the Kaluga Special Economic Zone, operates a fully automated closed-loop system. Its raw materials come from TH’s high-tech farms, producing milk quality previously sourced by Danone and PepsiCo.
TH’s project in Russia is expected to enhance food security, create over 500 jobs, and reclaim tens of thousands of hectares of abandoned land, becoming a symbol of “people-to-people diplomacy” between the two countries.
