“Super Fair” with 5,000 Billion VND in Transactions

On the evening of November 3rd, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, along with Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son, leaders from central and local authorities, representatives of diplomatic agencies, international organizations, associations, corporations, and domestic and foreign businesses, attended the closing ceremony of the First Autumn Fair (held from October 25th to November 4th).

This event marks a significant trade promotion initiative, kicking off a series of national-scale trade, investment, and cultural activities in the new era. It was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the People’s Committee of Hanoi, Vingroup, and other ministries, sectors, and localities at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Tu Lien Bridge, Dong Anh, Hanoi).

Spanning over 130,000 m² with 3,000 booths and the participation of more than 2,500 domestic and international businesses and organizations, the First Autumn Fair 2025 is likened to a “panoramic painting” showcasing the vitality, identity, and aspirations of Vietnam’s economy.

The fair also serves as a forum for exchanging ideas, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainable development. Continuous seminars, conferences, and investment networking events attracted thousands of delegates and experts from both domestic and international spheres. This “Super Fair” is thus seen as a launchpad for Vietnamese products to reach further and for Vietnamese businesses to grow stronger in the global value chain.

The First Autumn Fair 2025 attracted 1 million visitors for shopping and experiences.

The fair’s massive appeal and scale generated strong consumer interest. Over just ten days, more than 1 million visitors came to explore, shop, and experience the event. Total transaction value at the fair reached nearly 5,000 billion VND, reflecting vibrant purchasing power and strong confidence in the domestic economy.

The fair’s success is attributed to the Government’s close guidance, the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s leadership, and the enthusiastic participation of businesses. Notably, Vingroup’s role as co-organizer, sponsor, and main operator ensured a well-organized, professional event meeting international standards. Vingroup not only contributed resources but also acted as the “architect” for the overall design, infrastructure support, utilities, security, and sanitation, ensuring the smooth and exemplary operation of this national-level event.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated: “The success of the First Autumn Fair 2025 affirms that Vietnam’s market is not only attractive in terms of scale and growth rate but also a safe, friendly, and promising destination for domestic and international investors. The fair symbolizes the unity and shared development aspirations of the Vietnamese people, reflecting a dynamic, creative Vietnam looking toward the future.”

A Fair of Compassion

Beyond impressive figures, the First Autumn Fair 2025 is distinguished by its spirit of sharing. Before the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee, in collaboration with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, launched a fundraising campaign to support flood-affected communities. Donation boxes were placed at all entrances of the VEC for visitors to contribute cash or items.

Thousands of representatives from organizations, businesses, and individuals contributed gifts filled with kindness, embodying the spirit of “Autumn of Hope – Sharing Love.”

Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman and CEO of Vingroup, presents a 100 billion VND donation from a 500 billion VND fund to support flood recovery efforts.

Vingroup, a pioneer in corporate social responsibility, demonstrated its commitment by donating 100 billion VND (from its 500 billion VND fund for disaster relief) to help Central Vietnam recover from flood damage.

Nearly 400 billion VND was raised at the First Autumn Fair 2025.

With nearly 400 billion VND raised, the First Autumn Fair 2025 transcended its role as an economic event, becoming a festival that connects hearts and spreads Vietnamese compassion.

The First Autumn Fair 2025 concluded its brilliant journey, paving the way for future fairs and strengthening the collective efforts of the Government, businesses, and communities toward a prosperous, sustainable, and compassionate Vietnam.

Following the First Autumn Fair 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has been tasked with planning the organization of four seasonal fairs. The upcoming First Spring Fair will establish a year-round series of large-scale fairs and exhibitions at the VEC, serving as a hub for trade connections and cultural experiences between businesses, localities, and domestic and international consumers.
