Uniting for Central Vietnam: Vingroup, Petrovietnam, and Businesses Pledge 400 Billion VND at Autumn Fair 2025 in Response to Prime Minister’s Appeal

The closing ceremony of the 2025 Autumn Fair on the evening of November 3rd witnessed a remarkable achievement, with nearly 400 billion VND raised in donations to support fellow citizens affected by storms and floods in the Central region and the Northern mountainous areas.

Vingroup Donates 100 Billion VND to Support Central Vietnam

This donation campaign responds to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s call for action, “Autumn of Hope – Sharing Love,” launched at the fair’s opening ceremony. Addressing the event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed:

“On behalf of the Party and State leaders, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all compassionate individuals and organizations for their support to our fellow citizens affected by storms and floods. This spirit of kindness epitomizes the noble tradition and solidarity of our nation, serving as the foundation and driving force for our continued progress and development.”

Prime Minister Attends the 2025 Autumn Fair

The Prime Minister’s appeal resonated widely, transforming the fair into a hub for community support alongside its role as a trade platform. Numerous corporations, businesses, organizations, and individuals joined hands in contributing. Notably, Vingroup and Petrovietnam (Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group) each pledged 100 billion VND.

Vingroup’s contribution is drawn from its 500 billion VND fund established to aid flood-affected communities. To date, Vingroup has allocated over 30,000 billion VND for social welfare and relief initiatives.

Petrovietnam Contributes 100 Billion VND

In addition to its 100 billion VND pledge, Petrovietnam has provided urgent aid totaling nearly 20 billion VND, along with tens of tons of rice and thousands of clean water containers to Quang Ngai, Da Nang, Hue, and Quang Tri.

Police Officers and Soldiers Donate 43 Billion VND

Other significant contributions include 43 billion VND from police officers and soldiers, 20 billion VND from Viettel Group, 10 billion VND each from Techcombank and Vietinbank, 9 billion VND from Vietnam Chemical Group, 5.5 billion VND from Vietnam Airlines employees, 2 billion VND from HABECO, and many more from various organizations and individuals.

Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Ha Thi Nga, received the donations. All funds will be distributed to affected communities by the Committee, ensuring timely and targeted support.

The 2025 Autumn Fair at Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi)

The inaugural 2025 Autumn Fair, held at the Vietnam Exhibition Center in Dong Anh, Hanoi, was a large-scale trade promotion event. It featured 2,500 businesses with 3,000 booths, attracting over 1 million visitors. The event recorded nearly 5,000 billion VND in transactions, contracts, and memoranda of understanding.

In his closing remarks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh praised the fair as a new milestone in international trade promotion and urged the Ministry of Industry and Trade to propose plans for the 2026 Spring Fair.
