On November 7th, at the Party Central Headquarters, the Secretariat reviewed the proposal from the Central Inspection Commission regarding disciplinary actions against violating party members.
Upon examination, the Secretariat found that Mr. Cao Tien Dung, former member of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda and Mobilization Board, and Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Dong Nai Province; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, former member of the Provincial Party Committee, member of the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee; and Mr. Nguyen Tan Chan, former member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, and Chairman of the People’s Council of Tay Hoa District, Phu Yen Province (now Dak Lak Province), had degenerated in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle.

These three officials also violated the Party’s regulations and state laws in performing their assigned duties and responsibilities. They breached the rules on what party members are not allowed to do and failed to set a proper example, causing severe consequences, public outrage, and significant damage to the reputation of the Party organization and their respective agencies.
Based on the nature, severity, consequences, and causes of the violations, and in accordance with the Party’s regulations on disciplining violating party members, the Secretariat decided to expel Mr. Cao Tien Dung, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, and Mr. Nguyen Tan Chan from the Party.
The Secretariat requests that relevant agencies promptly impose administrative disciplinary actions in line with the Party’s disciplinary measures.
