On behalf of the ward administration, Mr. Nguyen Cong Chanh outlined the responsibilities of the seconded team, urging members to demonstrate their expertise, uphold accountability, and collaborate effectively with ward departments. He emphasized that this initiative reflects a proactive approach to organizational reform, meeting the evolving demands of local governance.
Representing the seconded team, Mr. Phan Minh Tien pledged to fulfill their duties with dedication, teamwork, and innovation. He highlighted their commitment to enhancing coordination between the Department of Construction and local authorities in maintaining urban order and addressing violations.
The event concluded with the establishment of a joint action plan between the seconded team and ward departments to ensure immediate operational effectiveness at the grassroots level.
As previously reported by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Ho Chi Minh City is deploying seconded officers from the Department of Construction’s Specialized Inspection Division to communes, wards, and special zones to bolster urban and construction management. The City People’s Committee Office is tasked with finalizing the delegation and coordination framework by November 2025.
The Director of the Department of Construction will collaborate with local chairpersons to assess needs, assign workspaces, and define specific tasks for seconded officers. While the Department provides oversight and technical guidance, localities declining seconded support will assume full responsibility for construction order management.
