The Lien Phuong Road in Binh Trung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, stretches from The Global City project to the Mai Chi Tho – Vo Nguyen Giap Boulevard. It includes a bridge over the Muong Kinh Canal, directly connecting to the Rach Chiec National Sports Complex. With a total length of approximately 660 meters, the road is designed for a speed of 60 km/h and a width of 60 meters.
As a key inter-regional connector, the 6.7 km Lien Phuong route links Nguyen Duy Trinh to The Global City, reshaping eastern gateway traffic. This new road significantly shortens the distance from the Lien Phuong – Do Xuan Hop intersection to the Cat Lai junction, easing congestion at the An Phu interchange, Ho Chi Minh City’s largest.
Once operational, residents of Thao Dien and An Khanh Ward can reach The Global City in just 5 minutes, with a 10-minute commute from Thu Thiem or downtown Ben Thanh. Alongside the “billion-dollar” infrastructure developments, this project will boost commerce at The Global City and invigorate the eastern real estate market.
Ms. Cao Doan Ngoc Thuy, Vice Chair of the Binh Trung Ward People’s Committee, remarked at the ceremony: “Today’s event marks a significant step in completing the eastern infrastructure, addressing local traffic challenges. Alongside key projects like Ring Road 3, the An Phu interchange, and Long Thanh International Airport, these developments are vital for the city’s socio-economic growth.”
On the same day, the first “Walking Together for a Green, Civilized, Modern, and Compassionate Binh Trung Ward” event in 2025 drew nearly 5,000 participants at The Global City.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong, Director of Southern Business Development at Masterise Group, highlighted the project’s impact: “We are proud to partner with local authorities for the second year, launching this critical infrastructure. Through enhanced amenities and infrastructure, we aim to deliver sustainable living and shape a modern urban landscape for Ho Chi Minh City.”
Spanning 117.4 hectares in the heart of eastern Ho Chi Minh City, The Global City is Vietnam’s first internationally-standard integrated urban complex. Since late 2023, the SOHO multi-functional townhouses have been completed and handed over. High-rise zones like Masteri Grand View, Lumière Midtown, and Masteri Park Place are set to launch from 2024.
