While prices for many older iPhone models have unexpectedly surged, the iPhone 16e is bucking the trend with widespread price reductions from Apple retailers.
Introduced to consumers in February 2025, this model has seen a price drop after more than six months on the market. The 128GB version is now available for 14.9 million VND, the lowest price since its launch. Compared to the end of Q3 2025, the iPhone 16e has decreased by 500,000 VND. Relative to its original list price, this smartphone is now 2.1 million VND cheaper.
Despite the increasingly attractive pricing, the iPhone 16e continues to struggle with sales. Retailers report that the device lacks appeal among Vietnamese consumers, who favor the iPhone 15 in the same price range due to its premium design, reliable performance, and stronger brand recognition.
