KFC Australia’s Zinger Bánh Mì: A Fusion of Flavors
According to QSR Media and Daily Mail, KFC Australia is set to launch its highly anticipated Zinger Bánh Mì nationwide from November 4 to December 1, 2025.
This innovative creation combines KFC’s signature spicy Zinger fillet with a twist on Vietnam’s iconic bánh mì. The sandwich features: Zinger fillet, slaw (pickled carrots & daikon), fresh cucumber, cilantro, jalapeños, bánh mì mayo, and a “Supercharged” sauce.
Zinger Bánh Mì: Available Across Australia
The Zinger Bánh Mì will be available at all KFC restaurants across Australia. Customers can purchase it à la carte or as part of a combo with fries and a drink, or in a Box Meal.
Starting at AUD 9.95 (approximately VND 170,000), this fusion sandwich promises to deliver a burst of flavors.
KFC’s Modern Twist on a Classic
Sally Spriggs, Marketing Director of KFC Australia, shared with Daily Mail that the brand loves putting its unique spin on modern dishes. The Zinger Bánh Mì is KFC’s creative take on a beloved culinary icon.
Prior to its nationwide launch, the Zinger Bánh Mì was tested at 10 locations in Newcastle, New South Wales, earlier this year, available exclusively through the KFC app.
However, some Vietnamese customers in Australia noted that the sandwich lacks traditional elements like pâté, making it less authentic than the classic bánh mì.
